I love this! Paul says so succinctly what I try so unsuccessfully to put into words for my worship leaders! Thank you!

In my experience, God usually gives me 1 or 2 key songs for the worship set. I then have to find other songs which fit around it. I don't like it when a worship leader gets obsessed with transitions. How do you know whether the Holy Spirit is moving in the service? Easy -- is it okay to be quiet? If there's an uneasy quietness during transitions, then the Holy Spirit really isn't there. However, if the Holy Spirit IS there, the quietness is fine because He is comforting and ministering.

Transitions can be so difficult. Thank you for posting this. It really gets your mind going as to how you can apply this to the different members of the band as well.
